The stay at Blue Wave Inn was fun, especially because of the close location to the beach and the boardwalk. The staff welcomed us with friendly smiles, making check-in smooth. The room was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. A nice touch was the food truck on-site, making it super easy to grab a bite without going far. However, it could use better attention to cleanliness. I noticed some areas that could have used a deeper clean. Overall, had a good time, but keeping the place cleaner would really improve the experience.

However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. we found trash under the pull-out couch and the bathroom fixtures were outdated. Additionally, a broken handle on the stairs posed a safety risk for kids and elderly guests. Despite a few pleasant aspects, the upkeep could use significant improvement.

We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the nice pool after a long beach day and the cozy, spacious Queen Suite with a stunning pool view. The outdoor pool and sun terrace were perfect for relaxing in the sun. The only hiccup was our room key not working initially, but it got fixed quickly and didn’t ruin our trip. 😊

Great Location and Spacious Room

I recently stayed in an Efficiency Room with Two Double Beds for two nights, and it was surprisingly spacious and well-appointed. However, the air conditioning unit in our room definitely needed some serious cleaning.

It was definitely not cheap for what we got, paying a hefty price for amenities that didn’t live up to expectations

It was just an ideal choice for a short stint in Ocean City with best value. The cleaning staff was nice, but sometimes locked the door while cleaning. Make sure to keep your key with you at all times.
